Fabrication
Textiles are the basis of my purses, pillows, bowls, wall hangings, and other end products. When taking a concept and putting it into practice, inspiration is followed by illustration, surface design, product design, various sewing techniques, and construction.
ThIs purse is a combination of a photo, beading, and stitching.
This is an example of a photo on fabric, and beading. The side panels are a repeat leaf pattern taken from the photo.
This pillow is a combination of a photo printed on cotton with beading and stitching.
